End User Licence Agreement

The terms you agree to when you install and play CISO: Cyber Defense Extraordinaire. What you may do with the game, what you may not, and what we promise about it.

Terms of Use

The terms for using neuraltactic.com, the press kit, and for writing to us. Short, and mostly about what you can reuse and what we can promise about a website.

// Your data

Privacy Policy

Exactly what the game and this website collect, why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how to make us delete it. Covers both.

The whole thing in five lines

This summary is here to orient you. It is not the agreement — where it and a document disagree, the document wins.

One. The game is a single-player strategy game. You do not make an account, and we never ask for your name, your email or your location.

Two. Usage analytics and crash reporting are switched off until you turn them on in Settings. Nothing is collected before you do.

Three. There are no ads, no ad networks and no trackers, and we do not sell or rent anything about you to anyone. This website sets no cookies at all.

Four. Settings → DELETE MY DATA erases your save and asks our server to erase its copy. You do not have to email anyone to exercise that right.

Five. The game teaches real cyber security ideas through fiction. It is not professional security advice, and every organisation and person in it is invented.

Asking us something

We are a small studio in Australia and there is no legal department to route you through. Privacy questions, requests to delete data, complaints, or a sentence in one of these documents that reads badly — the same address reaches a person either way.

// If a document changes

How you will know

Every document carries a version number and a date at the top, and the bottom of each one lists what changed and when. We keep that list rather than quietly editing the text.

If a change materially reduces your rights, we will say so in the game before it takes effect.
